Act as
chief negotiator on behalf of the County Board of Commissioners involving all
labor contract negotiations.
Interpretation and administration of all labor contract agreements and/or county
policy.
Provide
labor contract grievance administration and represent the County in presenting
contract arbitration dispute cases.
Represent the County in unemployment compensation disputes before the State
Department of Labor and Industry referee.
Represent the County involving all Federal and/or State discrimination charges
filed.
Schedule and participate in regularly scheduled and requested meet and discuss
meetings and/or labor management meetings.
Hear
and provide written opinion response to all non-union grievances filed through
the County policy manual.
Maintain, review and update federal, state, and local labor law information and
changes for administration.
Advise
all departments and provide training regarding labor relations issues.
